1. Active Sentences

In most English sentences with an action verb, the subject performs the action denoted by the verb. These examples show that the doing the verb's action.

formula present tense:

S + verb(I) + O + adj

formula present continuous tense

S + verb(I)+ing+O+adj

formula present perfect tense:

S + verb(III) + O + adj

Formula Present Perfect Continous Tense

Present perfect continuous tense adalah suatu bentuk kata kerja atau tenses untuk menyatakan aksi yang telah selesai pada suatu titik di masa lampau, atau tindakan yang sudah dimulai di masa lalu, tetapi tindakan tersebut masih terjadi/berlanjut sampai masa sekarang.

Tindakan pada present perfect continuous tense biasanya berdurasi waktu tertentu dan ada kaitannya dengan kondisi sekarang.

Formula Past Tense

Pengertian simple past tense adalah kalimat yang digunakan untuk menceritakan kejadian yang terjadi di masa lampau dan selesai atau berakhir di masa lampau juga. Contoh kalimat past tense, "He visited his grandparents last week."
Past tense digunakan apabila kamu bercerita di masa sekarang tentang aktivitas masa lalu, contohnya seperti pada artikel 10 Cerita Liburan Bahasa Inggris Singkat dan Artinya.
